Homework
For DEBATE, you will prepare reasons for AND against the proposition: Learning a second language is very important. 

Think of at least 2 strong arguments in the affirmative and 2 strong arguments in the negative. Also, find at least one number (statistic) and one example to support your arguments. Next week, you will work with a partner to prepare for a mini-debate on this topic.

For PRESENTATIONS, you will write out your introduction script on a piece of paper. You will hand it in in class.
