Gestures & VoiceIn this lesson, we practiced gestures and voice inflection with sentences from p. 32 in SOS.
Demonstration Speech
We watched the model Demonstration Speech on the DVD. In Lesson 6 (11/8) you will give a Demonstration Speech about how to make your favorite dish.
Demonstration Speech Presentation
Use the storyboard handout from class to prepare the steps for your Demonstration Speech.
Your speech will have six steps. For each step, you will have …
- a full-sized photograph.
- an instruction.
- a warning.
- a gesture.
- one or more voice inflections.
Your slides should be photographs from your camera or phone. You do not need to finish your slides by the next lesson, but I recommend beginning to prepare your photographs and slides soon.
